Your Crepe Myrtle is quite lovely. It reminds me of my great-grandmother who was named Myrtle - which she considered an ugly name and often questioned why anyone would name such a pretty flower such an ugly name. Silly lady!
I've been wanting to photograph my crepe myrtles, but they have been a soggy mess. I've already heard thunder this morning, so it doesn't look like today will work either.

Nicki, There was a Myrtie in our family! I think it used to be a lot more popular than nowadays.
